Bethel Bible Series
A new study of the Bible, called the Bethel Bible Series, was launched in September 2022.
Matthew, our pastor, is teaching the two-year study with the first year to focus on the Old
Testament and the second on the New Testament. One session is held on Wednesday mornings
from 10 to 11:30 and the other session on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. The Thursday
session will start with a meal followed by the study and activities for children.
The Bethel Bible Series gives people a better understanding of the Bible and God’s purpose for
their lives. It helps them see how everything is connected – from Genesis to Revelation – and to
understand the cultural, social, and historical impacts on events in the Bible. It helps people learn
key concepts in the Bible and encourages them to grow closer to God so that they can be a
blessing to others as he has blessed them.
Matthew has taught the Bethel Bible Series at two other churches and says it can bring new life
to a church. People who have taken the series call it “transformative.” Matthew says it also helps
the congregation come together in their understanding of the Bible, providing a more unified
